Multimedia Developer

The Multimedia Developer works with Instructional Designers to develop and publish interactive and engaging e-learning content for online delivery. This role requires a balance of technical skill, an eye for good design, and awareness for the overall user experience.



Responsibilities



Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.



Design and produce multimedia products using a variety of industry-standard software packages

Use javascript and jQuery to program interactivity

Design and edit graphics and photographs

Collaborate with instructional designers to develop multimedia content

Optimize multimedia, graphics, video, and audio for web delivery

Develop, test, and implement new interaction designs



Requirements



Minimum of 1 year experience delivering content to the web

Extensive knowledge and experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Sound editing software and Flash a plus

Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and javascript. ActionScript 3 preferred. PHP and MySQL a plus

Experience developing interactive interface for touch-based devices

A strong focus on attention to detail to produce high quality, accurate and timely deliverables to meet deadlines

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Pride in creating quality work, in a collaborative environment, without ego
