Multimedia Production Associate (Contractor) (JOB #171) Tripwire

If you are a video animation guru and are passionate about producing, editing and rendering marketing videos then this career move is for you! The Multimedia Production Associate will develop, edit and produce animated and illustrated marketing videos to promote company brand and awareness. In cooperation with staff, you will coordinate pre-production and production planning activities; develop animated computer graphics and special effects for video in accordance with the overall project concepts; and capture and review screen and interview footage to make editorial decisions on rough cuts, audio adjustment, color correction, and final edits for delivery in a variety of formats. Types of marketing videos you will develop include: Product Demonstrations, How To/Tutorials, Case Studies, Testimonials, Social videos, and Video Scribing (white-board animation).

You will also conduct occasional in-house video filming and production which involves interacting and prepping clients; operating all portable video and audio equipment; transporting and setting up lighting and audio equipment; and providing troubleshooting and maintenance of production equipment. This is a remote position so you will need access to your own video editing software and hardware. Tripwire can provide portable video cameras, lighting and audio equipment as needed for projects. A desirable candidate would be local to the Portland Metro area, as there are on-site video recording projects, but this is not required.

Qualifications

Demonstrated ability in video animation and illustration.
Strong background in developing and editing videos using a variety of editing/rendering software.
Initiating creative multimedia solutions and cutting edge ideas that align to the company brand.
Delivering high quality work and meeting deadlines is a must.
Experience in Content and Multimedia Marketing desirable.
Strong ability to work independently and make editorial decisions.
Experience in communicating professionally with clients to meet their objectives and expectations.
Proactive thinker who creates efficiencies and improves work-flow.
Solid understanding of video formats and online video players.
Troubleshooting and project management experience is a must.

Experience

1-2 years? experience developing, editing, rendering marketing videos
Post-secondary education or training in a related field

Desired Hours/Week: Flexible hours based upon projects, but should be available during peak and/or discovery times, as well as business hours as needed, (8-5 pm).
