Overview
Launched by banking innovators, Cardlytics brings next-generation rewards to bank customers based on their everyday purchases. Cardlytics' patent-pending banking rewards solution allows national retailers and service providers the ability to target consumers based on actual purchases made using their debit or credit cards. Advertisers have the ability to present relevant offers directly to the end consumer through their online and mobile banking experience.
All advertiser offers provide the consumer with incentives to purchase by simply using their existing bank card at the retailers? store, either offline or online. The incentives fund either cash back rewards or accelerate earnings for existing rewards programs. Cardlytics is the first platform capable of tracking offers distributed online through to in-store purchases, based on actual customer transaction data, all while protecting consumer privacy.
This position will have the crucial responsibility of introducing and selling the Cardlytics transaction marketing platform to national retailers and service providers. Integral to success in this role is the ability to design, present and manage marketing programs that drive client sales efficiently and effectively. A successful National Account Director must exhibit exceptional sales, marketing and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
Exceed sales goals while contributing to overall team goals
Prospect, penetrate and develop key national retailer and advertiser relationships
Create and present needs-based solutions via in-person meetings, telephone and webinar using industry knowledge, market trends, and Cardlytics marketing solutions
Accurately forecast and develop business plans that strategically build account revenue within a defined vertical market
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth with new and existing customers
Analyze campaign performance in order to recommend optimization opportunities specific to each client?s goals, metrics, and objectives
Provide and share key learnings and best practices with team members
Qualifications
Bachelor?s Degree or higher
7+ years? experience in marketing services sales; experience selling into and senior marketing contacts in specific verticals a plus.
Proven track record of successfully growing revenue through the development of long-term strategic relationships
Strong analytical capabilities and a keen understanding of online and offline media
Excellent oral, written and visual communication skills
The ability to perform complex analysis yet deliver a simple message
A desire to learn and apply new technologies
Strong interpersonal skills to support interaction with customers, team members, and management
Innovative thinker, entrepreneurial, tenacious, with a desire to exceed sales revenue goals
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
25% to 50% travel
Compensation
