This position is responsible for introducing and selling the Cardlytics advertising platform to national and regional grocers. Integral to success in this role is the ability to design, present and manage advertising/marketing programs that drive customers to our Advertiser?s efficiently and effectively. A successful National Account Director must exhibit exceptional sales, marketing and analytical skills.
Skills & Requirements
? Exceed sales goals while contributing to overall team goals
? Prospect, penetrate and develop key national and regional advertiser relationships
? Create and present needs-based solutions via in-person meetings, telephone and webinar using industry knowledge, market trends, and Cardlytics marketing solutions
? Accurately forecast and develop business plans that strategically build account revenue within the Supermarket/Grocery Vertical
? Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth with new and existing customers
? Analyze campaign performance in order to recommend optimization opportunities specific to each client?s goals, metrics, and objectives
? Provide and share key learnings and best practices with team members
? Bachelor?s Degree or higher
? 5+ years? experience in the supermarket/grocery ecosystem or related business, such as brand, selling in to the grocery vertical; demonstrated success selling in to senior grocery vertical contacts
? Proven track record of successfully growing revenue through the development of long-term strategic relationships
? Strong analytical capabilities and a keen understanding of online and offline media
? Excellent oral, written and visual communication skills
? The ability to perform complex analysis yet deliver a simple message
? A desire to learn and apply new technologies
? Strong interpersonal skills to support interaction with customers, team members, and management
? Innovative thinker, entrepreneurial, tenacious, with a desire to exceed sales revenue goals
? Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
? 25% to 50% travel
