At Apparel Media, the National Account Executive drives new client acquisition through an approach to long-term relationship building with best in class marketers at Fortune 500 brands based on true partnership. We're currently recruiting National Account Executives with strong existing relationships with brands in the CPG, Wireless/Telecom and Financial verticals.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES
Acquire new and expand on existing client partnerships by positioning the Apparel Media platform for adoption by decision makers on all sides of the table (brand and agency) through a consultative sales/business development process
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute against a formal tactical and strategic plan and aggressively prospect, evaluate and identify best opportunities through your existing relationships with Brand Managers, Senior Brand Managers and other senior decision making marketing executives
Proactively engage prospective customers and win over their trust by clearly understanding their needs and advising the best course solutions that AMG can offer
Build and maintain a network of exceptional colleagues, partners, and clients to share information and obtain prospects within the targeted vertical to develop a pipeline of opportunity beyond what is needed to achieve your goals
Consistently hit revenue goals by fostering long term relationships with target clients by successfully achieving the following: leverage existing relationships, being accountable for reaching new clients and the ability to reach and identify appropriate decision makers in a target company
Ensure each client comes away from each and every point of interface believing they are, without question, the most important client to you and AMG
Own your financial destiny by developing a plan and then making it real!

QUALIFICATIONS
5-8 years experience in client management and/or business development on the agency and/or client side preferably across multiple brands and from within an integrated marketing/full service agency
Proven record of working with a team to initiate and expand client relationships, working across business functions to service those clients' needs while turning a profit for the business
Current and established relationships with: Brand Managers, Senior Brand Managers and other decision makers within one of the following verticals is a MUST: CPG, Telecom/Wireless, Financial Services, Retail/QSR, Auto
Excellent client services skills: ability to organize and present compelling sales/pitch presentations and strong interpersonal skills when communicating with one or more individuals
An ability to maintain & retain relationships with consistency & longevity
Experience in start-ups and or exposure to startup/VC-backed companies is a plus
