National Account Manager - East MegaPath Networks

The National Account Manager is a direct sales "Hunter" responsible for bringing in new large enterprise (100+ locations) business customers. This motivated individual understands, presents and effectively sells Unified Communications (UC), Hosted Voice, Data Networking , Security and Managed Network Services. The National Account Manager's support team includes a sales engineer, a lead generation rep and a project manager.
Absolute "Musts" for Success:
Must sell in a complex environment - you need mastery of product to build deep relationships with target customers
Must have immediate sales funnel strategy to reach quota
Must be near a major airport
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Lead qualification, customer needs assessment, and closing of identified opportunities
Maintain a strong sales funnel with multiple opportunities throughout the sales cycle each month
Prepare quotes and proposals and make presentations to customers
Establish and maintain a working knowledge of current and new products and services across the MegaPath product range, keep up to date with new features and releases
Work both directly with prospects and also in conjunction with partners on referred leads from the channel partner program to close sales
Accurately forecast opportunities and log activities on a daily basis in the sales funnel in Salesforce.com
Meet target activity levels for calls, meetings, quotes and new opportunities added to the sales funnel each month
Close sales at and above assigned quotas and goals
Desired Skills and Experience:
Proven, consistent, sales performance in the distributed enterprise data/telecom and UC fields
Effective knowledge of telecommunications, data communications, networking, applications, internet industry, including competitive knowledge from an industry wide perspective
Highly effective cold calling, presentation and closing skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a compelling and professional sales presence
Proven ability to work effectively and successful from a home office environment with minimum supervision
Record of uncompromising ethics and integrity
BA / BS required. Business or related field preferred
