National Accounts Sales Manager (Southeast) Soraa
Job Description:
Soraa is an innovative LED company founded by Shuji Nakamura, inventor of the blue LED for Nichia. We are a large, well-funded Silicon Valley, CA startup, backed by Khosla Ventures and NEA. We are introducing the next generation of high performance LED systems and are looking for select sales staff to ramp sales.
We are looking for a person that can hit the ground running and introduce new LED products to national and regional accounts. This position will develop, foster and maintain long-term business relationships and value through the sale of Soraas products. Position can be home-based, 50% travel required. This position has excellent starting salary and incentive program.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
? Work with electrical distributor and ESCO partners to coordinate national and regional rollout programs.
? Coordinates with factory sales personnel, distributors, etc., to promote and maintain successful and profitable business relationships with current and potential customers.
? Assure that appropriate technical guidance and assistance regarding product applications is available to customer.
Experience and Skills:
? Worked with national and regional accounts for a lamp manufacturer or an electrical distributor (for lighting products)
? LED experience is a plus, but not a requirement
? Must have existing relationships with key accounts in retail, restaurant, and hospitality
? Experience in ESCO and energy accounts will also be considered
? Well-developed communication, organizational, motivational and human relation skills
