General Description:
The National Alliance Solutions Design Manager (NASDM) is responsible for supporting the National Alliance Team and Alliance Partner sales teams in acquiring new business. The NASDM will work closely with the National Alliance Sales Team and Alliance Partner sales representatives, customers and prospects in providing technical guidance and developing solutions to customer?s problems. Support will include: conducting technical sales training classes and webinars, discovery and definition of customer requirements, design and pricing of customer application solutions, assisting in customer presentations, approving all contracted sales from a design and engineering standpoint, interfacing with National Alliance Director of Service Delivery to ensure a smooth hand off of all sales orders. The NASDM will support Peak 10?s solution selling methodology as the subject matter expert.
Key Responsibilities:
Initial and On-going technical sales training
? As part of the Alliance Channel Implementation Program, responsible for the development, needed updates and conducting of all necessary technical sales training presentations and classes? Provide technical sales training support for Peak 10 National Alliance Team and Alliance Partners
Pre-Sales Engineering
? Technical leadership with partners, customers and prospects for pre-sales engineering
? Assist with discovery of customers critical business issues and requirements
? Assist in solution design to meet customer requirements
? Participate in and assist with sales process and closure (solution selling)
? Assist in customer presentations
? Ensure accurate pricing of complex sales proposals and assist in RFP responses
? Coordinate additional support as necessary for sales opportunities
? Participate in Solution selling and understand your role
Technical Leadership
? Industry awareness ? continually seek industry and market information to provide Peak 10 and partners with the information necessary for successful business development
? Provide ongoing training to partners sales organization
? Recommend services and pricing improvements with all Peak 10 services
? Training/mentoring ? promote the professional growth of the Peak 10 National Alliance Team as well as partners
? Ensure Peak 10 and partner visibility to the local and regional market/community
? Others responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor
Requirements:
? Bachelor?s Degree preferred? Available for extensive travel if necessary
Knowledge, Skills and Key Leadership Characteristics
? Complex I/T Sales Engineering experience
? Ability to call on C-Level Executives and Engineers
? Proven track record

? At least 3 years technical experience
