The National Sales position will recruit new customers and sell all PulsePoint products (e.g., internet banner ads, pre-roll video, mobile banners). This position will have daily outbound call and email targets as well as monthly sales goals. Candidates must be able to prospect, cold call and successfully convert cold calls into sales through effective telesales techniques, email strategies and marketing efforts. This is a key player in the enhancement of PulsePoint ?s new business customer growth, and the ideal candidate will come equipped with the ability to work in the online advertising industry.
This is not your typical telesales position and there will be face-to-face meetings incorporated. Job Duties:
? National Sales will be the initial point of contact for PulsePoint prospects and customers
? Deliver timely and outstanding telesales for PulsePoint products to advertisers (agencies and direct advertisers)
? Achieve monthly sales goals via effective outbound call schedule of high-potential call activities
? Maintain a positive, sales driven, service focused approach to their day to day responsibilities
? Think logically to make quick assessments of customer needs and proactively sell to those customer needs
? Capable of identifying client's business challenges, collaboratively shape solutions that drive their strategic initiatives, and teach them about how current and future PulsePoint products can enhance their online and/or offline presence
? Provide documentation on daily tasks and weekly updates to manager on potential sales, closed accounts and expected revenue details, including details on any customer requests and needs uncovered during the sales process.
? Communicate with prospects/customers via phone, email and live chat to sell services and answer inquires
? Build successful relationships with customers in an effort to grow business and develop long standing sales relationships
Requirements:
? 1-2 years experience in an outbound/inbound phone sales environment
? A bachelors degree required
? Proven success in telesales with experience in prospecting, cold calling and closing sales
? Worked with more complex business-to-business services, preferably web-based
? A track record of success in an unstructured, entrepreneurial environment
? Excellent communication skills - voice quality, phone manners, sales presentation, writing and listening
? Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and Salesforce.com as well as various email and knowledge management programs such as Contactual or Right Now technologies
? Ability to quickly understand the needs of a customer to best position the right product(s) to maximize sales success
? Persistent - able to accept rejection, energetic, adaptable, and welcomes new challenges
? Creative thinker who will be able to make a long-term contribution to the organization and department's development
