National Sales Manager Carnegie Learning

Meeting and exceeding sales targets of mathematics products and services into the K-12 educational market in schools and districts across the U.S.
Work directly with the Regional Vice Presidents and Director of Inside Sales on the development of sales plans and team performance.
Manage, lead and inspire the field sales team.
Identify customer issues or opportunities and take action when appropriate.
Continually review the forecast and pipeline to ensure there is a steady volume of sales activity. Meet regularly with the Regional Vice Presidents to discuss activity and develop recovery plans for any shortfalls.
Work with cross-functional teams including marketing, order management, finance, professional development and others in support of the company and sales goals.
Provide weekly reports to the Vice President to show detailed progress against the sales plan.
Partner with the Regional Vice Presidents and Director of Inside Sales to support staffing needs and employee relations issues.
Participate in conferences, regional events and customer presentations as needed.
Provide recommendations for sales incentive plans and review the quarterly commission statements to ensure accuracy. Main point of contact for all variable compensation issues.
Create and maintain a list of key customer contacts as well as visit key accounts.
Coordinate and monitor the activity of consultants, independent representatives and other commission groups.
Innovate on data dashboard to identify key metrics for sales growth and ensure data accuracy in Oracle.
Bachelor?s Degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline
10-15 years sales experience in the K-12 education market and at least five years experience in a management position.
Experience leading a goal-driven, diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent presentation and organization skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Willingness to travel extensively.
Highly proficient with the MS Office Suite
Knowledge of Oracle a plus.
This position is located in the corporate office in Pittsburgh, PA and requires nationwide travel of at least 35%.
