The National Solutions Engineer is responsible for supporting the ENA sales team by assisting with pre-and post sales technical support of customers and sales prospects, by interpreting and presenting ENA?s managed service features and performance capabilities, all with the utmost respect, professionalism, and courtesy.
The National Solutions Engineer?s primary responsibilities are to:
Work with both sales and technology/engineering teams to design/architect supportable, creative solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations and be able to present ENA?s solutions to executive and technical audiences.
Support and participate in preparing demonstrations and presentations for customer calls
Participate in internal and prospect/customer meetings to understand network, voice, video and data requirements or to resolve technical issues related to the sale and its implementation.
Maintain and continually upgrade technical understanding of products; maintain ongoing relationship with ENA?s technology architecture, R&D, engineering, and Implementations teams
Represent the client?s interests to ENA management and architecture teams to ensure continuous improvements in product offerings, network effectiveness, client relationships, and overall customer satisfaction.
Perform post-sales support duties, including the communication of necessary pre-sales information to ENA?s engineering and support teams in order to facilitate a successful implementation and transition.
Take the lead in writing the responses to the technical sections of customer RFP?s and proposals.
Collaborate with ENA?s engineering and sales team in resolving technical issues related to existing services and new sales opportunities, managing customer expectations throughout the process.
This position requires four or more years of sales, sales engineering, or customer-facing production engineering experience in IP networking, voice, and/or video and related fields. Knowledge and experience utilizing a proven sales process/methodology (Solution Selling or equivalent) desired. Must be competent and conversant in networking and systems technology and voice solutions. Experience working with PLS, SIP, G.711/G.722/G.729, OSPF, BGP, VPN, Network Security Proven collaboration, project/task management and relationship building skills.
Candidates must be able to travel nationally 50-70% of the time. A valid driver?s license is required.
