National VAR Account Manager Voltage Security
This position will report to the Director of Channel Sales and will be responsible for developing and guiding the implementation of the account specific business plan; achieving account profitability and assisting regional channel managers in hitting their sales targets as well as serving as the primary account contact. This individual will also be responsible for increased opportunities for both regional Channel managers and Enterprise sales reps through assigned VARS.
Responsibilities
Develop account strategies in accordance with overall National channel strategy
Develop account goals and business plan with customers
Conduct regular reviews of business performance, promotion strategies, plans and programs
Partnering with the Customer Marketing Manager in promotional development
Forecast, budget and track account revenues and cost
Push programs and ideas out to regional channel managers and ensure they are executing with assigned VARS
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
3-5 years of sales and/or marketing experience
Experience managing national VARS (Fishnet, Accuvant, Forsythe)
Demonstrated skills in achieving sales, profitability, and budget goals
Ability to effectively implement sales and marketing strategies
Ability to effectively monitor category performance versus plan and communicate accordingly
Candidate should possess strong analytical skills, critical thinking skills and problem solving skills
Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to interface and demonstrate leadership both internally and externally
High-energy self-starter as well as collaborative team player
Proven ability to effectively communicate cross functionally within the company and the customer
Demonstrated commitment to building strong business relationships with customer
Ability to effectively communicate with senior leaders internally and with assigned VARS
