Job Description:
This is an exciting position that is a hybrid between account management, professional services, and training. We are looking for someone with cable network experience to take ownership of projects and troubleshoot escalated issues for our clients as a Network Account Manager. If you?re a self-starter that believes in taking care of customers, then this could be the right job for you!
Here?s what you?ll be doing:
Account Management of large scale cable network groups. Client profile will typically be large network groups with multiple cable networks that will likely use several WideOrbit products.
Manage and own simultaneous client projects. Maintain understanding of client workflows, use of software, and long term industry needs.
Facilitate communication among client corporate groups, individual networks, and WideOrbit Sales.
Document software gaps and analysis of custom code needs, where appropriate.
Maintain knowledge base of client workflow, including corporate playbooks and use of Salesforce CRM tools.
Stay apprised of pertinent feature enhancements and bug fixes for clients and coordinate software upgrades with the WideOrbit Release Team.
Sell, negotiate, and manage Professional Service engagements
Coordinate direct client application training onsite and/or via web-cast.
Maintain open communication with WideOrbit sales on renewals, new product potential and long term client needs.
Achieve referenceable status with clients.
Assist clients with special projects and initiatives such as integrations and interfaces with third party vendors (Dealmaker, SIMS, GRiPIT!, etc).
Work with Sales, Professional Services and Product Management to determine pricing and manage projects to completion.
Here?s what we?re looking for:
3+ years of experience in cable network traffic, sales, or vendor equivalent
Strong knowledge of cable network business practices.
1+ year of traffic software products in a client facing role is strongly preferred. Knowledge of WideOrbit products is preferred.
Demonstrated success in project management and working directly with clients.
Strong technical skills including the ability to trouble shoot software.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Travel as needed. Up to 25% travel is expected.
