Keynote?s Operations group is an exciting, challenging, fast-paced organization with of some of the best technical minds in the industry, who are responsible for building and supporting the world?s largest mobile and Internet test and measurement network, which collects over 700,000,000 measurements each day!
The Network Deployment Specialist, reporting to our Manager of Logistics and Administration, is responsible for ensuring that systems have initial configuration and are tested before shipping to our datacenters or co-locations. This role is responsible for implementing technical procedures necessary to support all network and system build business
processes. Ability to manage projects and good prioritization and planning skills is a must in this role.
Responsibilities:
Provisioning network and systems hardware based on predefined standards.
Prepare devices and servers for deployment to co-locations facilities.
Configure standard scripted VM?s and ghost hardware per requirements.
Work on multiple projects simultaneously to ensure that project schedules are met.
Coordinate new co-locations facilities. Aligning remote hands resources to prepare rack space.
Juggle multiple priorities and anticipate and adjust for new business demands and requirements.
Work with UPS/Fedex for shipping, tracking and receiving our hardware on a global base.
Work with multiple cultures globally and collaborate to fulfill Keynote business needs.
Deploy and rack mount DeviceAnywhere hardware appliances within local Cloud Data Center
Maintain documentation collaborate internally with multiple Operations Support teams
Data entry to track assets for inventory management
Create physical and network documentation for remote sites
Provided day to day support for remote networks and wireless devices
Work on duties as assigned by manager
Qualifications:
3-5 years Helpdesk/IT or similar IT support experience.
Ability to execute base configuration of Cisco Routers LAN/WAN
Good understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN technology.
Knowledgeable in configuring VMs
Understanding of mobile RF is a plus.
Use independent judgment and discretion to prepare systems
Experience Ghosting and configure windows systems.
Mechanically inclined to open hardware, replace boards, hard drives, install network boards and other
components.
Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately.
Ability to effectively and successfully deal with ambiguity.
Good knowledge of information technology infrastructure and applications
Good planner who knows how to avoid problem.
Good written/oral communications.
May need to travel.
