The Network Development Specialist is a savvy operator intent on expanding our network deep into key regions one market at a time by championing our win-win business model. The Network Development Specialist works in conjunction with internal and external constituents to extend our network reach from coast to coast and deep into targeted local communities. We?re looking for an aggressive, goal-oriented individual who enjoys identifying and overcoming the challenges unique to commercializing a platform at the local level. Success in this role requires a builder?s mentality and strong teamwork skills.

THIS POSITION REQUIRES 60-80% TRAVEL. WHEN NOT TRAVELLING THIS ROLE WILL WORK REMOTELY / FROM HOME OR FROM OUR CHICAGO OFFICE.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES
Develop and maintain the network of local partnerships that powers the industry's first scalable, hyperlocal marketing platform
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Expand the company?s proprietary network of Affiliate Printers and local affinity groups with a partnership-based approach to building long-term relationships
Serving as the thread in the company?s national fabric of local partnerships by building and maintaining long-term relationships with local business owners and consumer groups
Collect, analyze and interpret data in conjunction with Technology and Product teams
Work closely with Account and Technology teams to manage network partners during deployment of always-on marketing initiatives (client programs)
Build and analyze reports on partner operational performance and business needs
Represent the Apparel Media brand in local communities throughout targeted regions

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 1-2 years of relevant industry experience in business development, custom apparel printing/screenprinting, affiliate marketing/ad network and/or related fields
Outstanding communication and leadership skills
Effective communicator in business presentations and in interpersonal communication including diplomacy and good judgment; leveragse these skills to communicate persuasively
Well developed relationship-building skills and demonstrated ability to engage in true consultative value-add sales approach
Active listening skills and a collaborative approach to win-win relationships
Demonstrated ability to understand the big picture while driving results to the bottom line
Ability to operate in an environment of constant change
Experience in start-ups and or exposure to startup/VC-backed companies is a plus
