We are currently seeking a Network Engineer to join our growing team of professionals in Mesa, AZ. This position does require travelling 50% of the time to any part of the country.Job Summary:
The Technical Engineer position is responsible for supporting and guiding clients through the implementation of all Edupoint products.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain timely communication with customers throughout the Implementation phase.
Perform all technical duties related to implementation, such as system installation/setup, hardware configuration, LDAP integration and 3rd party software integration.
Become a Subject Matter Expert in all technical areas required for implementation.
Identify and proactively address any potential risks to the project, as it relates to data conversion and other technical areas.
Facilitate and ensure adherence to project plans based on Edupoint?s implementation methodology for all implementations.
Assist with data conversion/migration duties required during implementation.
Report project status to Vice President of Implementation on a regular basis.
Job Requirements:
Extensive experience with database management systems (Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle) including the creation of SQL scripts for the purpose of manipulating and inserting data.
Microsoft Windows Server management, Active Directory configuration.
Server/network hardware installation and configuration including load balancers and SAN?s.
Installation and configuration of Microsoft SQL Server clustering.
Configuration and management of virtualized server environments using VMWare and HyperV.
Ability to travel extensively, 50-100% of working hours spent traveling.
K-12 education knowledge preferred, knowledge of student information systems a plus.
Education:
2 years of related experience
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science is preferred
