Network Engineer M5 Networks

Responsibilities:

As a result of our growth we seek a Network Engineer who is independently motivated and has significant desire to learn in a leading edge environment.


Qualifications:

- BS in Technical/Engineering specialty (or equivalent)
- 3 or more years hands on experience in large scale service provider, multi-platform, multi equipment vendor networks
- Hands-on network troubleshooting experience including packet capture and inspection
- IP routing , configuration & troubleshooting
- Carrier circuit turn-up, testing and Interface troubleshooting
- Strong experience with Cisco equipment including switches, routers, access-lists, VLANs, IOS etc.
- Familiarity with MPLS functions and configuration
- Desire to learn Voice technologies including SIP and other Voip Protocols
- Demonstrated Ability to pick-up new technologies
- Professional, personable demeanor and customer service orientation essential
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Must be a motivated self starter who can take direction and work independently.
