We need a sharp network engineer to take responsibility for the complex connectivity requirements of mobile-to-cloud, mobile-to-datacenter, and datacenter-cloud connectivity. Our start-up pace is not for the faint of heart, but the passionate Network Engineer will find our dynamic and close-knit environment highly conducive to innovation and professional development.Responsibilities
Develop and implement global networking system in collaboration with ngmoco Architects
Configure and administer network equipment for optimal performance
Triage and handle network tickets, escalating as appropriate
On-call rotation member for network emergencies
Requirements
A Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 5 years industry experience in a similar environment.
Excellent Ethernet and IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in the application of IP protocols.
Fluent in Cisco IOS and Juniper JUNOS.
Significant past experience with, and deep expertise in many of the following: Ethernet, IP, TCP, BGP, OSPF, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP, MPLS, LLDP, DNS, HTTP, SSL, netflow, fiber optics, tcpdump, Linux (Ubuntu preferred), RADIUS, 802.1x, LDAP, IPSEC, VPN technology, and OpenLDAP.
In-depth knowledge of and experience with major Internet routing protocols.
Substantial background working with large-scale networks and monitoring tools. Deep knowledge of network hardware and packet forwarding architectures.
