Network Operations Specialist Cardinal Commerce

CardinalCommerce Corporation is seeking a motivated individual looking for a fast paced and exciting workplace that is under rapid growth. This position is responsible for access management of the computer network and ensuring standard security controls are properly administered. - Performing day-to-day information security administration for the organization
- Working with internal and external users to ensure that network access needs are met in a timely manner, and provide on-going centralized management of mission critical applications
- Ensuring that security audits are performed on mission critical applications
- Identifying and proposing network security and design improvements
- Handling computer incidents at the corporate headquarters
- Troubleshooting software and hardware configurations

Skills Desired:

- Technical knowledge of Microsoft products, including Windows, Active Directory, and Office required. Minimum of 2 years experience in a network administration role
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills and experience interacting with clients and management
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Active directory support implementation
- SQL Server 2005/2008 or relevant database knowledge
- DNS/WINS/DHCP
- Telecommunications system knowledge
- Microsoft XP/Vista and Server 2000/2003 support
- Server hardware technologies (CPU/RAID/SCSI support)
- Data Backup and recovery support
- VPN connectivity support
- Working knowledge of Cisco IOS and firewall technologies
- Flexible schedule to occasionally work later at night and on weekends
- Certification desirable, but not required.
