Summary:
Develops and recommends technical solutions to support clients requirements in solving moderately complex network, platform and system security problems. Typical focus areas include analytical and engineering solutions based on federal and industry INFOSEC policy, doctrine and regulations.
Qualification Requirements:
Education:
BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Experience:
5 years of experience in design and development of SECURE command/control/ communications and intelligence (C3I) and/or SECURE command/control/communications/computer and intelligence (C4I) systems or experience in providing information system security support for such systems
Or equivalent:
PhD and 2 years of experience
MS and 3 years of experience
AA and 8 years of experience
No degree and 10 years of experience.
Skills:
Experience developing and recommending technical solutions to support client requirements
Experience solving moderately complex network, platform and system security problems.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication skills
Able to work independently and in a team environment
Licensures, Certifications:
Cisco certification or equivalent certification is
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Provide pre and post sales product support for KMI solutions including
Performance testing
Solutions architecture
Tier III support
Secure system engineering and development, including system/security requirements analysis and secure system definition and specification development of INFOSEC policies and procedures utilizing technical and analytical skills.
Designs test beds for the DT&E of advanced INFOSEC hardware and software solutions
Demonstrate knowledge of OSI stack.
Demonstrate knowledge of network architecture and protocols
Demonstrate knowledge of CISCO or other vendor network components (routers, switches, etc)

As determined by the project size and requirements
Contacts:
Daily meetings with customer and project team.
Physical Demands:
Sitting in front of a computer on a daily basis
Working Conditions:
15 ? 20 mile travel between Columbia office and on-sight locations
Assigned tasks are usually performed at the customer site on a daily basis.
