Network & Systems Engineer EzRez Software

Summary
We are currently looking for a full time talented and driven individual to join our Technical Operations team. The right candidate must be skilled, experienced and able to manage in a challenging and fast paced environment. This position requires minimal travel to our data centers as needed located in California and Virginia.

Job Responsibilities

Lead network improvements related to capacity and troubleshooting efforts to ensure 99.99% uptime related to network connectivity
Assist the IT team with ongoing projects
Under direction, work as an extended resource with other IT members.
Maintain and administer 80% Linux/ 20% Windows server environment ensuring security and connectivity needs are met.
Assist with maintaining disaster recovery needs and global connectivity.


Job Requirements

B.S in Computer Science or related industry experience or relevant certifications.
5-7+ years? experience working in a production environment managing critical network connectivity in a high-availability environment.
Experience working with switching and routing OS such as: Cisco, Juniper, Force10, HP, etc?
Experience with Fibre switches dedicated to storage environments.
Experience with DNS, NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, IPsec, 802.x, BGP, OSPF and other networking protocols.
Experience working in a 7x24 client/server operations environment and being on call as required.
Experience architecting ,designing and implementing medium size switching and routing environments.
Background working with hosted environments and distributed system platforms.
Experience with multiple site inter-connectivity utilizing VPN technologies.
Linux/Unix/Windows troubleshooting and administration experience.
Scripting experience in shell, perl, bat, etc?
Limited travel as required for data center work.
Strong verbal and written communication skills including presentation and design diagrams.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across the organization and interact effectively at all levels of management and peers.
Desire to work in a fun, fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. and work on his/her feet for long periods of time, when necessary.


Bonus Points

Previous experience in a SaaS or production environment
Experience administering Virtualization infrastructure
Experience administering SAN (EMC) and NAS (Netapp)
Experience administering Windows environments including active directory
Experience administering F5 BigIP LTM or similar load balancer
Knowledge of SSL certificate administration
Audit experience surrounding documentation, policies and procedures
