What you?ll doAs a Networking Systems Engineer, you will be accountable for technically leading the planning, requirements, specification, and execution phases of the product development life cycle in support of the product management team. You will be responsible for technical vendor and partner coordination, technical design reviews, schedule review, and execution against schedule.
How you?ll do it
Technical consultant for the PM team by providing information about current technologies and brainstorm on new features and products
Able to fully understand the spec and its relationship with other systems. Identify innovative ways to integrate systems to provide the delightful user experience
Create technical specs from Product Requirement Document by interfacing with key stakeholders and drive to alignment based on schedule and technical difficulty
Lead technical conversations with the ODMs on technical discussions regarding implementation
Attend bug scrubs and apply understanding of the system to provide an informed recommendation on its disposition
Co-work with the user experience team to build out intuitive user facing interface
Stay informed of current technologies
What you?ll need
CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
CWNA (Certified Wireless Network Administrator)
Embedded linux development experience
JAVA experience
HTML experience
Conversational Mandarin Chinese
What you?ve done
Conduct code reviews as necessary
Manage/direct ODM release plans
Comfortable in learning new technologies as required
Able to analyze wireshark packet captures
Working knowledge of Wi-Fi
Self-driven and proactive to ensure project goals are achieved and risks are averted
Break down complex issues and filter out the unimportant facts
Work well with large cross function teams and be able to drive to conclusion
Familiar with the SCRUM development process
