Freescale?s Automotive Microcontroller Product Group is a global leader in automotive microcontroller solutions across a wide variety of applications and is respondible for the design and verification of analog and mixed-signal modules.
The candidate will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the first-pass silicon success of mixed signal subsystems. Responsibilities will initially include learning about:
System Verilog test benches and verification patterns
Development of Verilog AMS models for mixed-signal IP
Simulating analog circuits using spice
Simulating analog circuits with Verilog AMS models to compare to the spice results
The position requires close collaboration with IP Designers and Verification engineers to learn best practices and world class methods for mixed-signal sub-system verification.
GPA of 3.5 or better with Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering
Ability to read and write Verilog or VHDL RTL
Experience in analog circuit design and an ability to read analog circuit schematics is highly desirable
Experience with behavioral model development is desirable
Good communication skills and the ability to work within and across teams
