Freescale's IT Networking Team provides global support for all aspects of the IT network including WAN/LAN, Phones, and Wi-Fi.
We are searching for an entry-level person to join our team as an IT network engineer.
The successful candidate will work independently as well as with a team on various networking related activities from architecture and deployments to operational support. The candidate will be exposed to a multitude of enterprise IT networking concepts and tools including WAN/LAN concepts, global Wi-Fi implementations, VPN technologies, security related networking tools as well as mobility and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) challenges. The Network Engineer, as part of the global network team is responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting all aspects of Freescale?s enterprise network.
This candidate should have the following skills and experience:
- A foundational understanding and knowledge of computer related networks
- Strong written oral and communication skills
- Experience in a Linux and Windows environment
- Ability to lead and work with various cross-functional groups
