New Product Introduction Manager

Infoblox is searching for a New Product Introduction (NPI) Manager who has extensive experience in the field of software and hardware project management and new product introduction. The ideal candidate will have experience of managing multiple simultaneous NPI projects, ensuring that they are delivered on-time, within budget, and aligned with corporate and product team strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- NPI process owner for all Infoblox hardware and software products/projects from concept/inception/planning through delivery and time to acceptance goal measurement.
- Working as part of a cross functional team to assemble the business case for projects in the concept/planning/request stage.
- Assisting in the prioritization of NPI projects based on business impact and strategic objectives.
- Responsible for developing plans for program execution and communicating project status updates to various project stakeholders, including team members and executives within Infoblox.
- Building relationships with other departments including engineering, finance, product marketing etc to assist with the overall execution of the NPI process.
- The ability to synthesize a multitude of issues into a clear, concise, focused message and present such with confidence and brevity.
- Identifying and finding opportunities to improve the current NPI processes that exist and driving consensus and executing strategies to address them.
Skills & Requirements:
- A minimum of 5-10 years of related experience implementing NPI, preferably in a high-tech, computer or networking environment.
- Strong commercial business and engineering acumen, which has been applied in context of New Product Introduction.
- Good working knowledge of product development/management validation, manufacturing and accounting functions.
- Proven track record, with functional responsibility for successfully implementing New Product Introduction and following NPI process
- Excellent communications skills with an emphasis on the ability to impact and influence people without direct line authority.
- Ability and desire to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced, fast growth environment and handle multiple projects and tasks daily.
- Strong analytical qualities coupled with business savvy and excellent problem solving skills.
- The ability to think strategically, while driving tactical program execution.
- Proficienciency in project management â€" advanced MS Project and MS Office skills required.
- Requires a BS/BA or other advanced degree.
- MBA from top tier school a plus.
