The Senior Producer will oversee and manage daily video creation for NFL in and out of season. We are searching for someone who will help define B/R?s video strategy in NFL and grow the creative output, talent base, and segment ideas.
Position Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage the creation of daily multiple segments for NFL year round.
Manage team of content creators (Producers, Associate Producers, Production Assistants).
Lead story planning and pitch process for producers and talent.
Plan future events and story coverage in conjunction with content, programming, and analytic teams.
Collaboratively manage and lead producers and talent in content creation.
Develop creative new formats and treatments to tell entertaining and engaging stories in opinion and real time analysis.
Collaborate with senior staff on talent and producer feedback and discovery of new talent.
Act as an on-camera analyst and host for NFL segments as needed and assigned by VP of video.
Collaborate with entire video team on new segments and coverage outside NFL.
Collaborate with NFL counterpart on content team to set best schedules to maximize workforce.
Work with production leadership in NYC and San Francisco to build most efficient schedule for editing and post-production.
Collaborate with video leadership on recruiting and hiring.
Find new technology and processes to increase efficiency and improve overall video quality.
Requirements:
Sports Fanatic.
Strong writing skills.
Minimum of 5-7 years experience in segment and show producing in a high volume environment with at least 3 years of team management experience in digital video.
Demonstrated history of story-telling skills and utilizing talent, images, and events.
Working knowledge of and experience with the latest digital video tools from pro-sumer to top of the line cameras, lights, and microphones.
Proven leadership skills as a storyteller and show producer in a deadline-driven environment.
Data driven background.
Ability to communicate ideas effectively and efficiently.
Knowledge of digital post-production process using Adobe and Apple software.
Proven skills in working with and developing talent.
