We are currently seeking highly motivated candidates to work as a NOC (Network Operations Center) Engineer within our growing Operations Team. In this role you will be responsible for monitoring production systems using automated and manual tools. You will identify and respond to incidents: qualify the impact and urgency of an incident, troubleshoot and apply fix, escalate, prioritize and report incidents.
Responsibilities include:
Troubleshooting a variety of technical issues: Exchange servers, Linux OS, MySQL,Tomcat and networking issues
Responding to incidents; assigning to appropriate teams as per our escalation procedure
Being accountable for closing tickets
Working with multiple teams Support, QA and Engineering
Maintaining NOC documentation including support guides, knowledge base articles and procedures
Required Skills:
Must be available for rotating shift to ensure 7x24x365 NOC coverage
Team player along with the ability to work in a stand-alone capacity
Ability to learn, confidence and a willingness to make decisions and escalate incidents when necessary
Experience working with Fortune Global 500, highly integrated, multi-vendor ecosystems with NOC to NOC communications
Working to meet incidents SLA and Internal SLO
Ability to interact with employees at all level of the organization
Experience in monitoring tools
Experience in using ticket management tool
Experience in troubleshooting Windows server and Linux using command line
IT diploma from a recognized institute or equivalent in experience
LINUX and MS certifications are an asset
