Cornerstone OnDemand, a leading provider of human capital management software, launched the CSOD Foundation in 2010 (www.cornerstoneondemand.org) in order to provide its technology, HR expertise, and capacity building services to the nonprofit sector domestically and abroad.
The CSOD Foundation is currently seeking a Corps Coordinator to support the development and management of one of the Foundation?s signature initiatives, the HR Pro Bono Corps. The HR Pro Bono Corps is a unique initiative that matches HR professionals with nonprofit organizations in need of consulting or coaching on human capital management related projects. Participating nonprofits are linked with HR experts who volunteer their time and talents to help these organizations build their internal capacity and increase their effectiveness. The Corps Coordinator will support the operations and expansion of the program by helping to manage existing pro bono projects including ensuring the progress, quality and timely outcomes of all engagements. This role will also manage daily programmatic requirements such as volunteer recruitment, volunteer and nonprofit orientations, application reviews and tracking, and the management and reporting of project outcomes and metrics.
The Corps Coordinator will work closely with the other members of the Foundation team and will report to the Director of Partnership and Programs.
Responsibilities
Provide oversight of active pro bono projects, ensuring progress, quality, and timely outcomes
Facilitate kick-off meetings between volunteers and nonprofits, lead volunteer and nonprofit orientations, and ensure the completion of project agreements
Consistently maintain and update database to include participating volunteers and nonprofits as well as active projects
Administer and ensure completion of feedback and project surveys, and reporting of outcomes and metrics including volunteer hours
Recruit, interview, and match as appropriate, HR volunteers to existing projects; assess volunteer qualifications; analyze skill sets and ensure the alignment of expertise to nonprofit project needs
Research and recommend new channels and partnerships to support ongoing volunteer recruitment (social and professional networking sites, community events, associations, etc.)
Collect and manage feedback from all project stakeholders
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience in Human Resources, Recruiting or Volunteer Management.
Detail-oriented and organized with ability to oversee projects from origin through execution
Ability to flourish in a high-growth, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
Exceptional written, oral and presentation skills
Ability to establish and cultivate relationships with diverse stakeholders including volunteers, nonprofit organizations, Cornerstone OnDemand clients, and employees
Ability to communicate Foundation programs, services, and impact
Strong computer skills including experience with Excel and Access
