About the Position
The North America Sales Enablement Director will be responsible for giving our N. America sales teams the tools, resources & training necessary to accelerate ramp times, and improve overall effectiveness and efficiency. In this role, you will ensure that our N. America sales teams have the skills, knowledge and overall readiness to successfully achieve the organization's overall revenue targets.
This position will ideally be located in or near New York, Chicago or Indianapolis but can be remotely located for the right candidate.
? Partner with N. America sales management team to identify and prioritize enablement needs across new business, install base, commercial, co-prime, channel and strategic sales
? Inspire, motivate and manage a team of enablement professionals dedicated to role-specific sales teams within N. America
? Create customized onboarding plans for new enterprise sales reps and manage the successful completion of those plans
? Assist in defining sales core competencies and objectives by segment, resulting in the creation of a tailored, role based learning paths. Own the content and track the progress against these learning paths. ? Develop and/or deliver training and enablement programs around ExactTarget Marketing Cloud solutions, sales soft skills, processes and procedures needed for sales to be successful in their jobs
? Identify gaps in knowledge and processes, working with necessary resources to ensure rapid deployment of learning tools needed to address needs
? Be the voice of N. America sales to the rest of enablement to inform overall curriculum build out, learning tools, priorities and needs
? Drive community and collaboration through Chatter
? Develop close relationships with the Sales and Sales management to understand needs and business challenges
? Participate in the delivery of all enablement activities including New Employee Sales Training (NEST), Sales Kickoff (SKO) and other enablement events, experiences & training.
? Minimum of 8+ years of sales enablement, technology sales and/or consulting experience with at least 3 years focused on the digital marketing space.
? Strong, detailed knowledge of software sales cycles and sales process
? Proven track record in creating and delivering enablement programs successfully
? Technical and functional knowledge of SFA and CRM
? Proven track record of working with sales reps and executives
? Strong ability to represent concepts, as well as summarize and communicate complex ideas, into curriculum with a strong sense of how sales professionals think, operate and absorb training
? Broad knowledge of technology trends and relevance to clients' businesses
? Self-motivated, with the ability to work with minimal supervision
? Excellent presentation and delivery skills
? Excellent oral and written communication skills with a flair for story telling
? Clearly demonstrated organizational and time management skills
