Movius Interactive Corporation is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our team. The Sales Engineer is the primary technical resource for the field sales force. The Sales Engineer is responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stages of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products. The Sales Engineer must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through-out all stages of the sales cycle. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.
Candidate must have a great attitude, be self-motivated, detail oriented and a team player. It is important that this candidate is proactive in a fast-paced, dynamic, rapid-development environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES (but not limited to):
Provide direct support to the sales organization through proactive pre-sales technical consulting on complex solutions design and assisting with technical sales presentations/proposals to customers.
Responsible for development and delivery of product pitch and demonstrations.
Provide presales architectural subject matter expertise for Movius product suite.
Provide knowledge transfer to our customers regarding completed implementations.
Work and communicate with customers, vendors and internal teams on technical order quality.
Participate in product reviews to influence the development and integration of Movius? products and how they will integrate in customer?s data network.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS SKILL:
The idea candidate must be self motivated with a proven track record in technical sales and knowledge of technology.
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Fluent in English is required.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
Excellent customer relationship skills.
Ability to identify and prioritize important tasks independently.
Experience in integration with IP infrastructure & SIP/SS7 call control interworking.
Familiar with virtualization of hardware platform, operating system (OS), storage device or network resources.
Understanding of carrier technologies and mobile value-added services.
Ability to understand the customer?s business objectives and technical needs, then translate them into the implementation requirements.
Travel will be required within assigned region and on occasion outside of region.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Requires a Bachelor?s degree Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Science in a related area with 6-10 years of experience in the field.
Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in vendor sales.
Working experience with Linux operating systems to include system administration.
Knowledge of IP routing/switching technology, configuration and administration.
Working experience with IP telephony protocols.
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures for network administration.
Working knowledge of common Microsoft Office programs and tools.
Working experience with SS7 including IS41 and GSM Protocols.
Familiarity with C, C++, Java and VXML.
Understanding of INAP /CAMEL is a plus.
Understanding the various ?air interfaces? such as 2G/3G/3.5G/4G and their various protocols associated to each is required.
VoIP/SIP control plane protocol suite architecture and call-flows.
Preferred candidate will have extensive knowledge/experience of VAS (Value Added Services) space within telecom carrier networks.
Understanding of various regional/global call modeling schemes is required.
