Northeast - Part-Time - Quality Control Specialist RedVision

This position is responsible for providing quality assurance for completed reports, ensuring that completed products meet RedVision quality standards. This position is also responsible for providing subject-matter expertise to production departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review deeds, deeds of trust/mortgages, easements, judgments, tax assessments, and other applicable instruments to ensure accurate reports.
Verify vesting and encumbrances to title.
Prepare title reports.
Assist Account Managers in answering questions for Searchers and Typists.
Monitor Review Queue:
Review of files that may be too complicated to be completed by other departments.
Auto-Review files for new persons and person(s) on Performance Improvement Plans
Amend incorrect reports as needed.
Track reviewed files using a spreadsheet and send to Department Manager and Account Manager.
Provide service to RedVision customers.
Conduct external audits when requested by clients.
Conduct Quality Control reviews when needed.
Assist in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective action as needed; Document and report escalated issues and defects.
Assist and provide on-the-job training for staff on operations and system applications, scenario-based training, and other training as needed.
Aid departments with workload as time permits.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The work is sedentary, typically employee sits comfortably to do the work. There may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as paper, books, or notebooks.
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment that requires normal safety precautions.
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 6-months experience in RedVision production
Computer skills including Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer
Prior experience examining complex title issues including probate, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and metes and bounds legals
Ability to work in an accurate, detail-oriented and highly productive manner
Working knowledge of legal documents affecting title to real property and methods by which they are recorded, liens, encumbrances and circumstances that affect title to real property
Knowledge of local filing requirements, recording fees, and abstracting procedures
Knowledge of surveys and plotting metes and bounds
Familiarity with all procedures performed in title report production?including abstracts, examinations, document retrieval, surveys, plat maps, tax data, etc.
PC proficiency in Title Software
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and tasks requiring detail, concentration, and accuracy
Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing
Ability to work both independently and contribute in every aspect to a team environment
