Manages the lifecycle of HW product from proto delivery to manufacturing GA (general availability) and sustaining activities and end-of-life
Ability to manage OEM/ODM suppliers to deliver new designs on tight schedules and budgets
Create action plan and fulfillment strategy with the product team based on input received from engineering and product management
Drive HW prototype and pilot builds, including cost and quality expectations
Reviews and influences manufacturing capacity / capability, design stability, risk planning
Risk mitigation (multi-source tech assessment, component, cost variance, supply chain review and input)
Compliance certification management
Timely updates to FireEye product team on NPI program status
Work collaboratively with other FireEye Manufacturing Operations teams to achieve business goals
BOM structuring and Mfg SKU creation
Excellent verbal, written communications and meeting facilitation skills
Job will require occasional travel to Contract Manufacturing sites
Program Management experience in a Manufacturing setting. Developing project plans and revising them as needed in response to obstacles; identifying and marshaling resources to implement plans; managing, monitoring, and communicating progress and parameters to team members and stakeholders
Demonstrated Hardware Product Life Cycle Management experience
Supply chain management and materials management experience
Design for Test/Manufacturing knowledge. The systematic consideration of manufacturing issues in the design and development process, facilitating the fabrication of the product?s components and their assembly into a more reliable and serviceable product.
Minimum of 7+ years of Manufacturing NPI experience with BS/BA or equivalent
