Nurse Practitioner Physician Assistant Habit OPCO
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED We are seeking either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide care to adults seeking outpatient care for opioid addiction at our Springfield, MA program. The work schedule will be early mornings during the hours from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. This is a 20 hour per week part-time benefited position.
You will be working under the direction of our Medical Director, the NP/PA will provide initial/annual patient histories, conduct physical exams, assess eligibility for treatment, write orders for admission, laboratory analysis, screening for infectious diseases and pregnancy testing, provide education and monitor treatment plans and progress. The NP/PA will also have prescriptive privileges for ordering initial medications, dose adjustments and medical withdrawal from medications.
The successful candidate must be licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, have a minimum of 2 years NP/PA experience, preferably in addiction treatment. A DEA Registration Certificate is required. Excellent communication and customer service skills and a strong team orientation also required.
