The candidate should possess and have demonstrated the following characteristics:Ability to speak and write fluently in English and Japanese
Five years plus previous work experience with multimedia and telematic products in the automotive industry
Ideal candidate would have program management experience at a Tier 1 multimedia supplier calling on Japanese OEM?s
Past experience building relationships with OEM and Tier 1 personnel in a sales or engineering capacity
Candidate must be a college graduate
Traveling within US and Japan required, approximately 30-40%
The key objectives of the Account Manager:
Meet sales targets
Achieve individual sales target by customer and by country
Support annual group OEM sales target
Increase new feature implementation by customer
Support marketing initiatives
Support Japanese automotive manufacturers and licensed OEM receiver customers concerning HD Radio program development
The candidate must convince automakers to standardize HD Radio technology on all future radio platforms by developing effective selling strategies
Be able to effectively present information to customers
Identify and maintain business and technical relationships with Japanese automakers and licensed (radio) customers
Program Management
Support customer program development timing and share with iBiquity personnel important engineering sample build dates, evaluation ride timing, certification dates, start of production dates and radio take rates
Participate in vehicle/radio evaluations
Meet regularly with customer and understand their requirements for implementing our technology
Other experience the candidate can bring to the position:
Expected to answer technical questions concerning the implementation of HD Radio technology from customers
General knowledge of:
-Broadcast system
-RF Propagation
-Service modes
-Lab equipment
Provide design direction to customers and or partners
-Consult on Pre-quote specifications
-Understand the IC partner roadmaps and give initial guidance
-Give product requirements guideline
-Provide HMI input
