Office/Administrative Assistant Good Start Genetics
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Administrative Assistant will provide clerical and administrative support to Good Start Genetics working with the Executive Administrative Assistant/Office Manager. Many of the responsibilities will be routine support duties, but special assignments and new challenges will be part of the role as well.
We are seeking an individual with excellent communication and organization skills with a proven track record of multi-tasking. The individual should demonstrate the ability to identify needs and take initiative to address them. He/She will serve as one of the first ?faces? greeting visitors, vendors, and new employees to GSG, and must present a welcoming manner and style.
This position will report into the Human Resources/Administration department and support all departments in the company as required. Ability to work with confidential information is required.
Performs general administrative duties including:
Assists and provides back-up support for the Executive Assistant performing general administrative duties as needed for all departments.
Orders office supplies and maintains appropriate inventory levels by ordering replacements supplies as needed.
Serves as point person for routine facilities concerns and compilation of needs/requests. Works closely with the Executive Assistant on any major facilities issues or projects.
Maintains company canteen and refreshment areas ensuring proper supplies and cleanliness. Prepares and follows through with arrangements for refreshments/lunches for employee meetings and special events. Coordinates food/drink delivery and setup with outside vendors.
Helps schedule and prepare conference rooms for meetings and events.
Responsible for or assists with specific departmental special projects, document preparation, and file maintenance.
Assists vendors making routine pick-ups, deliveries, and service calls
Maintains the visitor log and ensures that the GSG employee or department is notified of the visitor?s arrival.
Answers general telephone line and front doorbell to direct callers and visitors to the appropriate person or department.
Photocopy, scan, fax, and file documents as needed.

2 to 3 years successful experience in an administrative role in a fast paced organization
Ability to handle confidential information in a mature and professional manner
Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Must be flexible and able to prioritize multiple tasks
