Working as a Part-Time associate, from the company?s offices in San Francisco, CA, the Office Receptionist will become the face of SilkRoad Technology! You will be the first person any SilkRoad associate or visitor will meet upon arriving at the office. Therefore, it is vital that you are an extremely outgoing and dependable individual with a constant ?can do, will do? attitude.
Your daily responsibilities will vary, thus strong organizational skills are essential. If you like to be micro-managed, this is not the position for you. This position holds a great deal of autonomy. Being solely responsible for opening and closing the office on a daily basis, dependability and flexibility are key attributes you should possess since it?s possible you?ll be asked to stay late for a company gathering or come in early to set up for a meeting. Performing administrative and office support activities for the company and assisting with other department administrative duties will be your key responsibilities along with the following:
Closing the office daily; Performing all reception area duties such as receiving incoming calls, taking messages, accepting deliveries, managing mail flow and greeting visitors.
Maintaining office appearance and cleanliness; Coordinating office and kitchen supply orders.
Providing administrative support for site management including scheduling meetings or conference calls, arranging appointments, creating documents, filing, entering data, and creating reports.
Providing local support for meetings and events including meal ordering and organizing such events.
Acting as a liaison between office management and building/equipment companies.
Providing administrative support assistance to the Strategic Learning department and/or Sales department.
Organizing office functions and meetings; acting as liaison with other company offices.
Assisting HR with new hire paperwork, on-boarding, and other tasks as needed.
Running local errands as needed.

Patient with good interpersonal skills and the ability work with a diverse group of people.
Computer software literate; experience with MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Good research and data entry skills.
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate?s degree preferred.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative position required.
