Office Manager Yelp
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Yelp seeks an all-around superstar to serve as its Office Manager in New York! The ideal candidate is a true multi-tasker, comfortable serving as the face of the company to guests and vendors while maintaining and implementing effective office services and security processes and providing superb administrative support for the office?s Management, HR, and Recruiting teams. The successful applicant will fit comfortably into Yelp's focused, high energy culture and promote our continued growth and success.
Ensure the smooth operation of office services, including the sourcing and managing of outside vendors and service providers; the purchasing and managing inventory of office supplies, equipment, and food and beverages.
Maintain the reception area, meeting rooms, and all common areas of the office.
Fulfill general reception, including the answering and screening of telephone calls and greeting clients and guests.
Manage the security key card access for all employees and liaise with the building security staff.
Interface with the office landlord, building staff, and other facility service providers.
Provide administrative support to key managers, such as coordinating meetings, schedules, and travel arrangements for the management team.
Plan and prepare for client and internal meetings, such as managing schedules and the catering for company events.
Support HR, such as light recruiting, scheduling interviews, and greeting candidates.
Maintain office cleanliness to the highest standards.
Manage the health and safety requirements for the office.
Perform ad hoc duties as required to maintain smooth running of the office and assist office personnel.
Perform ad hoc tasks for the management team including putting together team and office presentations and organizing/coordinating off-site and on-site events.
Support facility office moves and reconfigurations ? work closely with the IT department and facilities to accomplish internal moves.
Prior experience as an administration and/or executive assistant a plus.
Ability to work autonomously.
Excellent prioritization and organizational skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations for the office to comply with local regulations for compliancy.
Hands on / can do approach.
Demonstrable office management and customer service experience in a fast growing entrepreneurial environment.
Must have experience supporting an office of 50 or more people.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to work across various functions within an organization.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Upbeat, motivated personality and a sense of humor!
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or working on a Apple Mac.
