Due to strong growth in our Market Survey System (MSS) business unit we are expanding our Team with Market Analysts to be based at our offices in Oslo, Singapore and Aberdeen. MSS supplies valuable market intelligence to our clients' strategic sourcing and supplier relation management processes. Our client base includes major national and international oil companies as well as suppliers and contractors to the oil and gas industry. Your main responsibilities will include:- understanding and modelling structures and dynamics of defined market segments in the upstream oil and gas industry;
- estimating and forecasting cost trends and market values;
- identifying supply and demand trends;
- handling various consulting and research requests from our clients.
You will be responsible for surveying a portfolio of market segments and suppliers, and presenting key findings in the form of reports, presentations and through our online news service. You will be in direct contact with our clients, and you will be expected to present papers at industry conferences.
Our Analysts represent a wide range of backgrounds with an emphasis on analytical skills and interest in the upstream oil and gas industry. You will have a Master's degree or equivalent in business administration, economics, engineering, finance, or similar, with a strong academic record. You will be responsible, with an analytical mindset, a keen attention to detail, and with the ability to deliver high quality analyses to strict deadlines.
