On-Call Temporary Employee Account Representative (Bilingual English and Spanish)
This is an on-call temporary position, filled when additional people are required to handle sudden, temporary surges in workload. Hours are non-standard and will include weekends and/or holidays. Individuals selected for this position will have first consideration for any full-time positions within our company for which they qualify.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The FPMI Employee Account Representative is the primary point of contact for our customers in the areas of human resources, payroll operations and personnel security operations. This is not just answering calls; this job includes researching and developing solutions, then ensuring the customers are satisfied with the results.
Responds to managers', supervisors', and employees' inquiries about jobs, pay, and status of security clearances
Answers inbound calls in a professional manner
Responds to email inquires
Researches required information using available resources and tools
Logs inbound calls, updates service requests, and closes service requests
Adheres to standard operating procedures
Identifies and escalates priority issues using appropriate Points of Contact
High School Diploma or GED
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Ability to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish (Candidates will be tested)
Ability to pass a background investigation, including credit check
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, plus other MS Office Suite
Strong grammar and communication skills
Ability to respond to customer inquires (written and verbal) in English
Availability to work weekends and holidays
PREFERABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Prior experience multi-tasking in fast-paced environment
Prior government and human resource experience
Ability to respond to customer inquiries (written and verbal) in both English and Spanish
