On Demand Product Marketing Manager Ping Identity
Looking for an energetic, innovative product marketer who can make Identity Security seem cool! Can you get inside the mind of a CIO, Line of Business IT or Application Developer and appeal to their motivations and challenges through creative content and innovative marketing vehicles?
You will report to the Director of Product Marketing and be responsible for generating compelling content, supporting creative campaigns, and launching new features and products. Every day will be different and you will get to collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Solutions Marketing and the Marketing Communications team to keep the leads flowing and the deals closing.
Key things you get to design and own: product positioning, messaging and collateral for PingOne, Cloud Access Services and Application Provider Services, as well as future On Demand solutions. You will also own the website copy and the full library of sales enablement materials for these products.
Your main responsibilities will be developing and crafting the product story for marketing programs and campaigns directed at both our technical (Enterprise Architect, CTO and App Developer types) and line of business buyers (CIO, CISO, LOB IT). You?ll need to quickly become an expert on our On Demand products, the market, our customer list, and competition. Once you have that mastered, you?ll create high-impact materials that clearly communicate their value to the marketplace. You should be a great writer and communicator.
Other responsibilities include:
Co-develop and implement product messaging platforms that clearly position Ping Identity solutions in the marketplace focused specifically on the Enterprise C-level, LOB IT, Enterprise Architect and App Developer audience.
Create impactful internal and customer-facing materials that clearly communicate the value and unique advantage of Ping Identity?s On Demand solutions.
Produce Website content to drive sales through clear, and impactful product information
Develop and manage all of the sales collateral including datasheets, presentations, videos and whitepapers and come up with new ones.
Develop, manage and contribute to sales tools including sales presentations, needs analysis tools, scripts, letters, and positioning documents
Work closely with product management, solutions marketing, marketing communications and events, sales, design, and the Web team to get our message out and continue to position our products as industry leading Identity as a Service solutions
Conduct sales training to ensure all sales members can clearly communicate Ping Identity?s product positioning and message
An understanding of the Enterprise On Demand/SaaS market. It would be great if you had experience in Security, Identity and Access Management or Strong Authentication.
Great writer with experience developing high-impact marketing and sales materials with proven results
Demonstrate the ability to create marketing content that can be used in innovative marketing such as social media, Google Ad words/pay per click, search engine optimization, video marketing or interactive media which drive prospects to take action.
5 years of SaaS/software/services product marketing experience. Sales or Development background a plus.
