The Customer Onboarding Engineer is a challenging role that blends elements of customer support, training, sales, and technical writing. He or she will be solely focused on helping brand new users successfully begin working with Chef from ?zero to first converge? and beyond.
We prefer candidates close to our Seattle HQ, but exceptional remote candidates may be considered.
Provide high volume support responses to customers working their way through the adoption process.
Work with the inside sales team to give technical demos and proofs-of-concept.
Help manage and update content on learnchef.opscode.com.
Host virtual office hours and regular webinars geared towards new users.
Unbounded enthusiasm for Chef and its community.
Passion for learning, collaborating with others and being an all-around customer advocate.
Strong presentation skills and an ability to present highly technical content in an approachable fashion.
Some demonstrated experience in systems engineering/administration or software development and an understanding of configuration management tools and principles.
