Online Marketing Communication Specialist Autotask

This position will be responsible for communicating the Autotask brand and message by engaging, our prospects and customers via broad-based and targeted email communications. This person will optimize and implement new email marketing strategies that improve the Autotask experience and conversion ratios across multiple programs. This role will include database segmentation and coordination of a communication calendar, as well as ongoing campaign analysis.
Essential Responsibilities:
Coordinate and optimize existing email-based lead nurturing programs using Eloqua
Work with marketing directors to implement defined strategies for creating self-running, automated email programs
Populate and maintain a regional communications calendar
Manage and report on campaign effectiveness using Eloqua tools and dashboards
Stay appraised of latest features and capabilities available and incorporate them into best-practice procedures for email marketing campaigns
Coordinate (or produce) campaign components including copy, graphics, web events, etc to produce effective email promotions in accordance with corporate style guide and messaging guidelines
Occasionally support additional programs within the department as needed.
Employees may be required to perform other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, English or a related field
1-3 years' related experience with a strong aptitude and interest in direct marketing. Experience using customer behaviors to drive contact strategy is preferred
Passionate self-starter; detail-oriented and precise, with strong execution and analytical skills
Strong communication and organizational skills with an ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple projects
Excellent computer skills, proficiency with Microsoft Excel; basic HTML experience a plus
Prior experience using automated email marketing tools is is desired but not required
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Office
Experience in copywriting or proficiency in written communications
