Online Marketing Manager Art.com Inc.
The Online Marketing Manager will be responsible for supporting global online marketing programs for Art.com's portfolio of brands. This position will be responsible for evolving and growing a robust online advertising and affiliate program accounting for a sizable portion of our traffic and revenue. The role will include planning, executing and optimizing display advertising, affiliate marketing, retargeting, social media advertising and mobile media. This role is perfect for someone with an eye for optimizing cross-channel performance, as well as developing strategy to evolve established channels to the next level of performance. You will manage relationships with various external agencies, as well as an Affiliate Marketing Associate in this role.
Channel Strategy, Forecast, Optimization and Revenue:
Responsible for strategy for each channel, including annual forecasting, optimization and expansion.
Ultimately accountable for delivering projected revenue, at projected advertising cost.
Display, Retargeting, Social and Mobile Advertising:
Drive strategy and manage external agencies to deliver revenue and cost targets for our display and retargeting programs
Evolve existing programs by identifying new partner opportunities and testing into additional channels, such as mobile media and paid social media. Evaluate and recommend new online marketing opportunities
Affiliate Marketing Program:
Partner with internal teams to leverage and evolve our content marketing strategy to drive inbound links and capture SEO traffic; drive revenue via our established affiliate network
Manage an Affiliate Marketing Associate and external agencies for day-to-day operations within network programs (Commission Junction, Affiliate Window, Zanox and Value Commerce) and in-house programs
Develop strategies to recruit new partners & grow the contribution of existing affiliates
Work closely with Technology team to ensure functionality of backend systems, such as tracking, affiliate tools, reporting, etc. As well as conceptualizing, coordinating and executing new technical projects
5+ years of online marketing experience
Understanding of ecommerce and digital media trends, tactics, and developments, with experience in Affiliate Marketing, and exposure, or management of other online channels.
Analysis is part of your DNA; ability to leverage data to inform decisions and performance
Strong cross-functional team player with the ability to apply innovative ideas and critical thinking to projects and the organization's opportunities
Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
Ability to anticipate needs, innovate and flourish in a fast-paced retail environment. Excellent attention to detail and ability to be a strong advocate for your channels
