Online Marketing Manager Plastic Jungle

Position Summary

The Plastic Jungle team is looking for an experienced and passionate marketing professional who will be responsible for developing and executing innovative and impactful marketing programs for the company. This position reports to the VP of Marketing.
Duties and Responsibilities(but not limited to):

Direct Marketing - Engage and retain Plastic Jungle users via targeted promotional email campaigns, as well as transactional email communications. Scope of activities will span from email design and content generation to database management and segmentation strategies to tracking and performance optimization.
Internet Marketing - Help acquire customers and drive activity through SEO, paid search, display advertising, and affiliate marketing. Currently have agencies in place to manage paid search and affiliate marketing.
Social Media Management - Manage social media presence including Plastic Jungle blog, Facebook and Twitter in partnership with external contractors and Customer Service.
Brand Management - Maintain (and update as needed) the acquisition brand & content standards and style guide.
Product/Partner Marketing - Build and execute plans to drive traffic to and revenue from our payment applications outside of PlasticJungle.com.

Job Requirements

Relevant marketing experience (5 years)
Consumer internet marketing experience required; product management experience is a plus.
Bonus points for familiarity with Silverpop, Netsuite, Commission Junction, Google AdWords and Google Analytics
Demonstrated strategic and tactical success
Creative, big thinker who is also scrappy, resourceful, and willing to roll up your sleeves and 'get it done'.
Flexible with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic entrepreneurial (start up) environment.
Data-driven and customer-focused
Creative, passionate, hard working, detail-oriented, analytical and technically strong
Excellent communicator (verbal and written) and proven ability to work with vendors and other internal groups (e.g. Product Development)
Team-oriented and fun with a good sense of humor
BA or BS degree required; MBA is a plus
