Online Marketing Manager - New York Client Services | New York, NY, United States Marin is experiencing tremendous business growth and is seeking to add an outstanding individual with strong prior experience working within a client services organization as an Online Marketing Manager, an integral part of an Account Management team that manages both client retention and growth through proactive strategic recommendations and rapid response to client issues or questions. Responsibilities
Provide basic and advanced client trainings in order to equip clients with knowledge to effectively leverage the Marin application on their own
Act as a strategic advisor for clients by sharing industry best practices with detailed instructions on how to implement recommendations within Marin to achieve business goals
Provide detailed recommendations on SEM, Social and Display optimization based on client business goals defined by the Account Management team. Recommendations can include bidding, keyword expansion, budget optimization, etc.
Become an expert on the Marin platform in terms of time efficiency through usability, troubleshooting simple to complex issues, revenue/attribution setup, and bidding implementations to clearly present the benefits/resolution in both a training environment and ad hoc scenario
Communicate effectively with clients through email, CRM and ticketing systems, in-person or over the phone
Work directly with the Marin Operations team to escalate technical issues after thorough investigation, Product Management to review future feature requirements, Account Management to set & meet client expectations to drive customer renewals, and Professional Services on data integration issues in order to ensure the client's strategic and tactical needs are resolved quickly
Requirements
4+ years experience in SEM, SEO, social or display campaign management is desirable
1 year experience in direct client management role
Outstanding Excel data management including expertise in organizing data for analysis, pivot table building, chart construction
Excellent pattern and trend recognition using Excel-based tools to aggregate large amounts of data
Strong understanding of online media metrics and their impact on client campaigns
Extensive experience in building and presenting detailed analyses to decision makers
Minimal travel and providing support/assistance on some weekends may be required
Patience with helping others achieve their goals
Excellent interpersonal skills are critical
Writing sample and presentation sample required
Spanish language proficiency preferred
Compensation This is an on-site, full time salaried position located in the New York Office. Compensation depends on prior experience.
