The Online Marketing Manager will be responsible for running site-wide promotions, house advertisements, and partner advertisements throughout the Rearden Commerce Platform website. This will require defining our site taxonomy and targeting data, gathering and preparing creative for publication, setting up campaigns, and supporting production issues of live promotions. This position will track the success of campaigns by defining several key metrics, and provide reports to the business, marketing, and product teams. - Implement, maintain and enhance complex online advertising campaigns.
- Ensure that online campaigns are implemented in an accurate and timely manner based on key defined metrics of relevance, impression goals, click goals, user interaction, and revenue.
- Provision, track, measure and analyze the performance of all active and pending campaigns. This includes updating and maintaining detailed client campaign reports on a regular basis.
- Regularly compare campaign objectives vs. performance data and identify strategies.
- Work collaboratively with the product, marketing, and business development teams to recommend campaign modifications, leveraging understanding of advertiser and product performance.
- Support partner ad campaigns, in which case a partner's ad traffic would be hosted by a combination of Rearden-supported campaigns, and 3rd party campaigns.
- Empower the product vertical owners of stores within Rearden with house advertising to both upsell their own customers to other services, or to cross-promote their services to other existing targeted customers within our site.
- In conjunction with operations, support an on-call program to support live campaigns during non-business hours.
- Regularly monitor and reconcile campaigns across delivery, reporting, and third party ad serving systems.
- Work within interdepartmental workflows to ensure that all elements are handled according to process/schedule.
- Minimum of 10+ years of ad trafficking experience with one or more ad servers or targeting marketing applications (e.g., 24/7 Real Media - OpenAdStream, DART, DoubleClick AdServer 4.0, or Atlas/Accipiter.
- Understanding of fundamental advertisement campaign goals, and performance metrics.
- Executing Social Media strategy; Monitor, manage and measure social media communications and it's impact.
- Extremely proactive and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and people simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Self-motivated, enjoy taking initiative
- Detail oriented, highly collaborative and able to work effectively in a dynamic environment with diverse teams
- Basic HTML experience and support required. Macromedia flash, and javascript experience preferred.
- BA / BS Degree
Optional Qualifications:
- Prior experience with Adobe Photoshop for creative
- Email campaign management a plus.
- Experience with Omniture SiteCatalyst a plus.
