WildTangent is looking for an Online Marketing Manager, responsible for developing and implementing online marketing strategies and programs to increase customer retention and conversion rates at key consumer touch points.
This position reports to the Director of Consumer Marketing and will work across internal groups to achieve business goals and objectives. This role will lead our customer retention strategy, own the email marketing program, and be responsible for on-site merchandising across both our PC and mobile platforms.
We are looking for someone who is extremely customer-focused and data-driven. The ideal candidate is well-organized, has a great attitude, and truly thrives within a fast-paced environment. Previous hands-on experience simultaneously managing multiple marketing channels and campaigns is required. Experience in the mobile marketing industry is preferred.
Plan, execute, and optimize the email marketing strategy
Engage customers to improve loyalty, drive repeat traffic, and improve retention rates through site merchandising opportunities
Report & provide ongoing tracking and analysis of consumer site behavior through market analysis, competitive analysis and site analytics
Direct promotions and marketing campaigns for the Consumer Marketing team
Manage shifting short term objectives while working on long-term projects
Research and recommend best practices using analytics and on-going testing; then, implement programs designed to increase customer retention and loyalty
Monitor ROI goals on all online marketing initiatives and adapt accordingly
BA/BS degree in business, marketing or related field
4+ years of Internet marketing experience; at least 3 years of hands-on experience developing and executing online programs
Proven online marketing, customer acquisition and retention program development experience
Experience in developing, implementing and measuring online marketing initiatives
Strong oral and written communication skills
Solid analytical, reporting and problem solving skills
Advanced Excel skills
Advanced experience in analytics tools, such as Google Analytics or Omniture
