Online Marketing Specialist Mirantis

The Mirantis training team offers the largest, deepest, and fastest growing OpenStack curriculum in the industry. We want to drive growth even faster, and we?re looking for a focused, driven, well-organized online marketing specialist in an individual contributor role to drive demand generation for training. You?ll play a pivotal role in organizing and managing digital and social campaigns, handling changes to our online properties, driving course revenue and keeping our fast-growing population of training alumni enthusiastic and engaged. You?ll report to the head of our training business to capture opportunity and operate online resources, and collaborate cross-functionally with our main marketing organization to leverage our main corporate and product branding and messaging resources.
Run online demand generation campaigns for Mirantis Training programs. Drive traffic and opt-ins to the Mirantis Training website with a variety of online campaigns, including emails, landing pages, PPC advertising, banner ads and social media. Manage campaign budgets and track ROI.
Engage with prospects using email campaigns to drive conversion into paying customers. Use list segmentation and targeted messaging as needed to optimize engagement levels.
Manage Mirantis Training website, including content, SEO, and analytics, to optimize user experience and increase conversion rates. Work with training team, marketing staff and external vendors as needed to execute deliverables. Oversee the production of multimedia and interactive content for online training resources. Employ web marketing best practices to improve performance.
Partner with marketing team to develop and manage social media content calendars with input from key internal stakeholders to create consistent and engaging online user experience across all of Mirantis? Training branded social media channels.
Monitor all of Mirantis? Training related social mentions via monitoring tools, working with the Training team to manage response strategy, identify and monitor influencers and build relationships with brand advocates.
Identify and analyze issues, patterns and trends across community conversations and interactions, creating action plans to optimize future social initiatives.
Develop and track online metrics, reporting results on a monthly basis to key stakeholders.
Work with Marketing and Training team to develop visual social media assets ? including GIFs, Infographics and images ? to support marketing campaigns and content.
Work with the PPC Marketing Manager to implement complementary social Pay-Per-Click programs/ promote posts to generate leads for Training services.
Bachelor?s degree in marketing, business administration or similar experience
Web analytics, Facebook, Adwords, SEO, SEM, and management of Twitter, LinkedIn, and email campaigns
2-3 years of B2B online marketing experience
Hands-on knowledge of SEO, online media, email acquisition, affiliate marketing and HTML
Superior communication and writing skills
Past automation software experience (HubSpot best, Eloqua/Marketo, Salesforce,etc.)
Creative thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit
Analytical and forward thinker
Very proactive work ethic with a follow-through attitude to complete tasks with minimal supervision and with the emphasis on problem-solutions
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Great organizational skills with attention to detail
Preferred: Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, experience creating multimedia content
