Online Marketing Specialist Courion
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Online Marketing Specialist works closely with other members of the Marketing team to define, create, and implement digital marketing strategies and tactics related to web marketing by using SEM, SEO, and web analytics tools to optimize the company?s external-facing websites.
Plan, project manage and implement website changes based on company strategy and work with internal and external team members to implement new web tools, services and functionality for improved site engagement
Handle the day-to-day publishing and maintenance of content on the website using CMS. This includes, but is not limited to, landing pages, page edits, U/I, navigation changes, and resource library/multimedia uploads.
Develop and implement search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to maximize the company?s website performance including keyword development and linking strategy.
Develop search engine marketing (SEM) strategies/tactics for, and managing the deployment of, internet advertising and promotions (Google AdWords, Bing, possibly LinkedIn), online displays, email campaigns, and other digital advertising/promotions to maximize ROI goals.
Define key performance indicators and implement measurement, analytics, and reporting methods to gauge success of paid, organic, and social campaigns.
Stay abreast of market, industry, and out-of-industry digital marketing trends and best practices, and use that knowledge in tandem with company and product-specific knowledge, as well as marketing goals, to optimize company websites and online marketing campaigns.
Required Skills and Experience:
Successful SEO experience with ability to share concrete examples
Successful SEM experience with ability to share concrete examples
Website content management experience with basic html skills required. Most updates done through a CMS. Working knowledge of Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash helpful but not required.
Experience with Salesforce.com and Marketo a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
HTML email design skills and social media skills a plus
Attention to detail, with the ability to see how details fit into the overall picture
Excellent time management and project skills and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment
