We are currently seeking an On line Media Sales Account Executive to add to our expanding Sales/Business Development teams. Were looking for candidates who are well-connected with interactive ad agencies and their clients, producing results quickly. The position will report to the Senior VP of Business Development.
Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals Drive new business by prospecting new clients and agencies with a relentless focus on closing business
Respond to RFPs with a sense of urgency while maintaining a client centric approach Consult with customers on their marketing needs, providing solutions oriented proposals
Win big deals and attract repeat business
Attend trade events, shows and receptions to drive new business and deepen existing relationships
Work with marketing to create effective and compelling sales materials, presentations and client follow-up documents
Monitor, forecast, track and report sales performance
The successful candidate will be an experienced, intelligent and aggressive interactive advertising sales professional with a demonstrated ability to establish unique and long-lasting partnerships and close business with major national advertising clients and agencies. We are looking for a high energy, sharp individual whose professional efforts are driven by the desire for excellence and market leadership along with:
Bachelors Degree or relevant professional experience with preference towards individuals with degrees in Business, Marketing, or a related field
5 years of sales experience, at least 2 years in on-line marketing
A strong understanding and familiarity with major digital advertising agencies and clients
A detailed, team oriented approach with the competitiveness to win in the marketplace
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills plus the ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment
Aggressive style, strong work ethic and national sales experience
Self managed and self motivated
Excellent communication, interpersonal, business development and negotiation skills
Ability to manage all aspects of prospecting
Ability to write and manage the full RFP process
Strong oral and written skills
Requires a strong knowledge of:
On-line advertising revenue models (CPM, CPC, CPA)
Advertiser on-line marketing channels, concepts, practices, and procedures
